Client Need
Following the acquisition of Fournier Inc.,
Solvay needed to integrate two sales forces together and empower
them with one vision. Because of this, Solvay required a significant
shift in focus midway through the planning process of its 2006
annual sales conference. This shift included;
- Revamping existing creative treatment to accommodate the style
and personality of the new President
- Revising the structure of the conference from a motivational
sales rally to include the launch of a cohesive sales team
combining two cultures, new products and new leadership
Strategy
- Develop a conference theme to connect all employees - 'One
Vision, One Team, One Solvay' - and integrate this theme
throughout all elements of the conference.
- Create an interactive environment focused on learning,
building, celebrating and motivating
- Clarify key messages and strategies for the launch of the
'new' company, the brand positioning and corporate direction
- Reinforce optimism for the future growth of the
company
Results
The 2006 Sales Conference inspired two teams to
unify into a single team with a willingness to share best practices
and work together to build an elite sales force. New Solvay
leadership was accepted with enthusiasm and anticipation of great
things to come.
