As Public Relations and Communications Manager for Vision|Co,
Marsha is responsible for all aspects of media relations and
promotions, with a special focus on the company's destination
marketing accounts. She brings almost ten years experience in the
television and entertainment fields, working in every department
from hospitality to production to promotions and publicity.
Most recently, Marsha was Manager, Communications for CHUM
Limited in Toronto during the purchasing of CHUM by CTVglobemedia
(http://www.ctvglobemedia.com/). An exciting time
to be part of corporate communications in media, Marsha gained a
first hand knowledge of the business side of television and radio as
both companies awaited CRTC approval of the transaction and the
subsequent completion of sale. Prior to her career in corporate
communications, Marsha spent six years in entertainment PR working
first at Star!, Canada's Entertainment Information Station (http://www.star-tv.com/) and later Citytv (http://www.citytv.com/) in Toronto where she was
responsible for the primetime programming publicity for all five
Citytv stations across Canada ( Toronto, Vancouver, Calgary,
Edmonton and Winnipeg). During her time in entertainment PR, she
handled all aspects of publicity for nearly 50 personalities. Marsha
was also instrumental in many of the company's media campaigns
including the launch of Canada's Next Top Model with Tricia Helfer,
Conan in Toronto, FashionTelevision's 20th Anniversary Campaign, The
Genie Awards with Scott Thompson and Andrea Martin, countless Red
Carpets at the Toronto International Film Festival's Festival
Schmooze, and MuchMusic Video Awards, and (seemingly endless)
seasons of The Bachelor.
